Personal disability

Personal disability is the financial support you have the right people with severe disabilities or other serious long-term health condition, in order to meet its vital needs for inclusion in the daily life of the community, if personal disability is not achieved on any other basis. 

 

· Personal disability is 250% monthly bases for the determination of allowances and grants (which currently is 1 250,00 kuna) for a person who does not have their own income or assets valued prescribed by law. 

· If the parents of users of personal disability used: maternity or parental leave, work half-time, work part-time because of increased child care, leave or work part-time to care and care for a child with severe disabilities or take unpaid relationship to the child's third year under special regulations, a child day stays longer than 4 hours at a preschool, school or medical institution, a social welfare or with another provider of travel, personal disability benefits are paid in the amount of 125% of the basis for the determination of benefits and support (which currently stands at 625.00 kuna) 

 

If a person earns an income determined by law (wages, pensions, property income, fees or receipts under other regulations) 

· Personal disability is determined as the difference between the amount of personal disability and average revenue achieved in the previous three months before applying 

 

The income is not included: 

· Support allowance 

· Help with housing costs that are realized on the basis of this law 

· The pension to the amount of the minimum pension earned for 40 years of service 

· Orthopaedic allowance 

· Funding for child support payments realized on the basis of regulations on family relations 

· Allowance for children 

 

The right to personal disability does: 

· A child or adult who uses the right to permanent or weekly accommodation, while this right is exercised 

· A user who is entitled to assistance and care
